In this project, Unique Services and Applications (USA) installed a 100' steel flagpole from start to finish in just 4 days with two men. On arrival, we dug a 12' deep hole to support the massive 6500 Lb. flagpole. Once the hole was dug we dropped in the 10' steel foundation sleeve and custom made a large concrete base that will support the flagpoles flash collar as well as a monument that the speedway is to provide. The following day we poured several yards of concrete around the foundation sleeve, filled in the concrete base, and smoothed and finished all the concrete.

USA also aligned and plumbed the flagpole to prep for welding by using heavy duty steel rollers. The 3rd day USA welded three sections of the flagpole to make it one solid and straight 110' shaft. Once the welding was complete the welded spots on the flagpole were then primed and painted with two coats of paint. The flagpole's hardware was also installed which included a gold 14" ball/truck combo, stainless steel cable, stainless steel snaps, 7 retainer rings, 1 large weight, and an extra large stainless steel winch. The final day USA erected the flagpole via crane then surrounded the flagpole with over 1500 lbs. of sand to keep plumb. The flash collar was then lowered into place and the giant 30' X 60' US Flag was raised.
