In this restoration we completely sanded and scraped this 45' flagpole then applied a heavy duty oil-based white primer, then several days later returned and applied a finish coat of white oil-based paint. We also replaced all the halyards, stainless steel snaps, and snap covers. There were 6 masts on this nautical flagpole which means 6 pulleys, 6 separate halyards, and 12 snaps and snap covers. We also painted the ball gold and refinished the original bell in gold.
